I can't for the life of me remember the rules regarding other online games - I think it only applies to other political simulation games, correct? if not, fire up the dEAT button. Pretty simple really - how many people here play Nexus Wars? - post your character, discussion of the game, etc. Maybe we can also get a few more players for this game, which is always a good thing.

I love Agony Curse. But frankly I always get bored at around Tier 3. Suddenly nothing yields any XP. I try to keep amused by killing random mortals, but it... just isn't the same...

Yeah, I can imagine that'll happen. The game needs a bit of work, but it's the best I've seen yet. If more people sign up, he's going to add to the game, isn't he?

Yeah, there's plan for a cloud city of some kind and an underground to stygia when the population density gets to a certain point.

Awesome! wonder if it'll ever get around to that. My character is in so much trouble right now... First I wake up, toddle across the Maquez bridge to try and find some rifle mags, stupidly running out of ap on the way back, then a whole bunch of enemies run past me on the way to try and attack my stronghold, almost killing me. Somehow I escape into the nearby grocery store, only to have a demon break down the door while I was regenerating AP, reducing me to 2/50 hp. I escaped that as well, run to an apartment as far away as I could get, go inside... and stumble right into the clutches of a void walker squeezing the life out of a wizard. Managed to escape that somehow :eek: . Man, how long can this last?

I was one of the original alpha testers. Lost interest maybe a month after it went beta. Doubt any of my characters are still around.
Edit: Well I'll be damned, my characters are still there. And there are finally enough high level characters around for me to gain experience. Looks like I'm going to go back in.
