here is a question thats been blowing about in my head for awhile should I show other reasonable folk NSG so long as they promise not to be ass hats on my forum?

I mean sure if I keep quite I can have the ability to post what I want and thus always have someone to talk to about whatever is unsettling me but it seems NSG has made me into the immature person I am today surely this is a secret best left told?

so what I'm asking is what you think, your stories and ultimately should I post pics of people in arousing positions and have you vote in the lookers of the bunch :p

My husband started posting for a while, and it pissed me off, you should totally not share NSG with anyone.

but most new posters piss me off anyway (I know thats a very naughty thing to say) surely they couldn't do any worse than saying hello to me...or share my dirty secrets :eek: :p

he did both. oh, and his political views are much more extreme than mine, so in political debate he kinda pisses me off anyway.

I would never mix RL with NSG. I'm sure one of them is escape from the other one. Not sure which way, but, yeah.

It's probably for the best that I don't know anyone on NSG personally.

I've made that mistake, and ended up with an ex-boyfriend that creepily popped up until I made him promise to stop. There were a few other people I told NSG about, but luckily, they all lost interest really fast.

Lets see, we bored my baby brother into leaving, I met my wife and her family here, and I haven't seen my co-worker who introduced me to the game in years. Would I introduce someone else to NSG? I am pretty much the same here or IRL and don't really worry about what others think about me in either place. So sure.

I agree. I have other forums where I can post with people I know (not much but still). This is a good place to have that isn't that and if you lose it you'll have a hard time finding another place like it.

Why not? If you believe the people you tell aren't going to start trolling or anything than why not? Some new blood is always beneficial.

1st of all: Using my 'drunksense' ability, I'm able to pick up that you were totally innebriated when you posted this. Secondly... I'm too intoxicated to pass judgement.

I've drawn a couple friends here...I don't think either made more than ten posts.

The waves of relief. The thing is, when one goes on about the discussions one has on NS to other friends/family, one needs the occasional link to establish credibility. the next step is obvious. it's a definite relief when they trail away though.
I dunno, it's not so much the "what will they see of me?!?" but more the fact that NS is comfortable as is, in its anonymous compassionate way. To much reality jarrs that.

What goes on in NSG...stays in NSG.

Making RL friends from NS is totally cool though.

Never mix NSG and real life, just as you should never mix alcoholic drinks.

One of my brothers has posted once. I think they're both going to post a little bit once another round of the mafia game starts. I think my best friend has posted once or twice as well.

I joined up with a bunch of friends from School. There were about 20 of us, but I'm the only one left. For some reason I created a puppet to post as whilst the region was still active. But as the region died I started posting with the nation I have now.

The puppet was Popular Fronts in case any of you remember that far back.

I don't show others. I like being able to discuss things in general that I normally keep to myself.

NSG is a playground for my other personalities.

i'm pretty glad my real life friends aren't on NSG, i like the anonymity of it. means i can say stuff or talk about stuff i wouldn't necessarily talk about with them. although one of my friends knows my nation name and used to play the game herself i don't think she comes on the forums.
