Classic.

Carolyn McCarthy doesn't understand what she writes in her legislation.

Owned.

I'm not sure she's qualified to even state what constitutes an "assault weapon" if her staffers have briefed her this badly.

Maybe she should fire her staffers.

Whenever I read into a gun debate topic, there always seems to be at least one argument about what constitutes an "Assault weapon". What's your take on it Remote?

Any EXACT model of FULLY AUTOMATIC weapon firing an INTERMEDIATE military cartridge that is currently IN USE or historically IN USE by a country's military.

Semi-automatic rifles of any kind are not, in my mind, assault weapons.

And muzzle brakes, flash hiders, bayonet lugs, folding stocks, do NOT make a weapon more lethal.

This line of hers was classic: "It's a thing that.. on your shoulder... it goes up..."

ROFLMAO. What a fucking moron.

If the weapon is designed specificly as a tool for assaulting human beings, then how is it not an assault weapon?

- Mind you, I don't really give a shit. As far as I'm concerned, you can keep nukes in the basement if you want. As long as you're not posing a threat to other people, I don't see the problem.

EDIT: Though I reserve the right to think of you as pathetic, sub-human scum if you get some sort of kick out of owning weapons. Nukes, guns or otherwise.

As long as I get to think of you as a pathetic wuss, it's ok with me.

Guns aren't what kills people. Guns don't travel at near-sonic speeds. Guns don't tear a person's insides apart. Why not regulate bullets? It's the bullets that kill people. Guns are just a means of launching them.

She doesn't understand something she wrote? Been there, done that.

You care so little that you intentionally troll a thread and insult people. Gotcha.

There's no such thing. It's an invented term popularized by the VPC to rename and demonize a general class of firearm previously known as "sporters". They even admit to using it to mislead the public.

You'll notice that I use the definition of the original Sturmgewehr.

I would LOVE to see you kill someone with JUST a bullet, and no gun. *laughs in a witty manner*
