Has anyone gone on to do the same job as their parents? Worked in the same organisation? Do you have a family tradition of doing certain jobs? Or Not...?

I know my Dad, Borother, uncle both Grandads and all four of my Great grandads joined the Army in the Royal Engineers. Which is also what I plan to do...

Anyone else followed or want to follow, their parents into a career?

EDIT: Added a poll...

My parents worked for CRA*... I don't want to be a friggin' civil servant who works for the federal government.

One of my parents works for The Kirk, and the other works as a truancy officer...

Well, sort of. My mother is a biology professor, and I'm seriously looking into a career as a high school music teacher.

Nope.

Mother is a teacher, Father is an engineer. Not going to do either (Unless you call engineer and software engineer the same thing)

Nope.

My Mum's a teaching assistant (I hate kids), and my Dads an electrical engineer, which looks pretty boring to me. I'm just finishing a Music and Recording degree (no idea where I got the music career idea from. Probably tv.)
