Pentagon Contractor says was told to hire Wolfowitz Lover.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Defense Department ordered a contractor to hire a girlfriend of Wolfowitz in 2003 for work related to Iraq, the contractor said on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for SAI Corp., said the Defense Department's policy office directed the company to enter a subcontract with Shaha Riza, under which she spent a month studying ways to form a government in Iraq.

Wolfowitz, a key Iraq war architect who left the Pentagon in 2005 to become president of the World Bank, is already under fire for overseeing a high-paying promotion for Riza after he took the helm of the poverty-fighting global lender.No wonder.

good thing it was easy problem to solve, as was subsequently shown by the outstanding success Iraq - and the Iraqi government - have become.

tbh, I'm surprised they commissioned someone for this lengthy period of time for such a simple task. Wolfowitz needs to be hauled over the coals over wasting so much of this woman's valuable time in demanding that USDD employ her for a whole month over such a non-issue!

That's not fair.

You don't just get going as soon as you start a job, you need to arrange your desk, learn where the bathrooms are, get passwords to access files, and generally acclimatise yourself to the office.

That alone, if done effectively, can be drawn out 3 weeks.

i'm still unsure which is worse - the original bad ideas, or the fact that these assholes don't even care to devote a full ass to said bad ideas. it's like an entire fascist movement devoted to the gentleman's C.

Wolfowitz should be condemned to death by consumption by wolves... he is responsible for more death and misery in iraq than anyone convicted of any murder or set of murders in US history, he deserves a commensurate punishment.
