All sex is outcasts screwing in some sort of suit, even if it is our birthday suits. As I already pointed out - not all 'furry' activity is sexual, and even where it is sexual, it is not arbitrary. Thus, it is not random 'screwing'.

Furries tend to employ similar concepts that we all employ - just taken to an extreme. Someone who is a loner might refer to themselves as a 'lone wolf'... since we all make that connection - but the furry will take that a step further, and live elements of that lifestyle, and possibly, of the 'look'.

You might not see the connection to something ancient and spiritual, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.

a fetish is a sexual attachment to an inanimate object like a shoe. or balloons. or hats.

it has to involve something that is not part of the human body, so having a thing for feet or breasts or blonde hair is not a fetish.

being a furry is only a fetish if its the costume that gets you off. if you can have sex with the costume without the person being in the room, its a fetish. otherwise its just a kink.

I would say furries, since plumpness is not in itself an unusual preference, historically speaking. Of course, it gets exaggerated to some bizarre degrees here. The whole furry thing, by contrast, seems to come out of nowhere, as far as evolutionary psychology goes.
