Why the Empire would win with debating tech! i am not going to get into Tech because in the end it got pulled from somebody ass anyway. For the purpose of this thread

The Galatic Empire built a 900 kilometer diamter battle station in under 2 years during the middle of a galatic uprising- This demonstrates how large the emoire must be to do such a thing in that time.

The GE has far larger numbers than the federation- They were not seen at the battle of Endor becuase in the middle of a Galatic Civil war were planets were sucedding by the hundreds, you would have them scattered in those systems to keep them in the Galatic Empire, not in some far away system. there were 20,000 Iimperial class star destroyers alone.

Now for Planet destrouction ability-

Why the Empire has bette planet destruction ability because with the base delta zero order. This destroys the planet's crust making the panet unlivable for tens of thousands of years. There are going to be Trekies who claim that it only takes to torpedoes to make the planet unlivable. It would also only take a nuclear exhange of 20 warheads to make the Earth unlivable.

And at least get your fucking fiction facts stright. The first DS was 120 km, the second 160 km. In diameter! The first took about 20 years, not 2. The second took however much time elapsed between the end of ANH and wasn't even finished by the end of ROTJ.

BDZ is not cannon. It comes from a book, not a movie and besides, the Federation have the Genesis device, a single torpedo that can somehow kill everything on a planet and remake it into a twin of Earth. Which will then blow up for no reason. And a star goes out. And it's...symbolic.

No idea. It's in my signature, so you'd think that alone would settle this finally, but sadly people still worry so much over it.

Star Wars is crappy science fiction. Star Trek is quality science fiction, or at least it has quality to it that Star Wars doesn't. (And I speak of episodes from the various series such as "The Measure of a Man" or "The Inner Light" or "Under the Pale Moonlight" ect ect.) And frankly, I don't care if one universe' technology could defeat the other...in the end it's just fanwanking over which one you like best, no matter how much you deny it.

I don't rate the Empire at all,

Who did they defeat exactly? 50 or so aging Jedi with laser sticks against an army numbering in the hundreds and thousands and, even then, only by the skin of their teeth.

They then place their entire bet on a Death Star, which has that unfortunate security hole.

The size of the Death Star doesn't matter! It's still got a badass laser thing.
Also, books are canon where they don't contradict the films. That's Lucas Licensing policy. So there.
