It's been more than a month...

...and there is no reply from the writing contest.

I finally submitted something to it, but I haven't gotten a reply that tells me if I won or not.

No email or anything to tell me if my writing is great or if it sucks.

Are they still reading the entries, or do they just not want to tell me that my writing sucks?

:(

They'll tell you what they think of it, it would be harsh not to. Just give it a bit more time, you don't know how many entries there are.

I wouldn't get too worried about it. The best thing to do, is to keep writing, and keep sending it out. Don't wait for the results of one contest, just keep writing.

The more you write, and the more you submit, the higher the chances that someone is going to give you a chance.

They are obviously having problems with the company dog. She hasn't been eating and there is a growth on her paw. They'll get to you once their problems with Sheila are straightened out.

last contest/grant i applied for I didn't find out till a month after the grant was awarded to someone else, and I wrote asking about it. i got a quick email saying "oh yeah, we gave it to someone else, best of luck". jerks, not even letting you know the results.

anyways, good luck, hopefully they're not jerks. a month isn't that long for a writing contest though.

At least you entered. :) Be patient. They have to read all the stories.
