I woke up about noon today(yes I know I should get up for Fajr but its Sunday) with the covers completely over my head and myself as comfortable as I ever have been. It was a good nights sleep to say the least. So, how do you sleep?

In bed.

My entire family snores to beat the band.

On top of that, I talk in my sleep and can carry on conversations.

I like sleeping on couches more than beds.

All of the above, except for 'Sleep? What the hell is that?'

I can sleep pretty much anywhere in any conditions (that I've experienced in my life). And I have to say, I'm very grateful for that.

Yes, I do that too - although apparently I won't respond if you use my name directly. My significant other thinks this might be my subconscious mind running interference so I don't inadvertently return to consciousness. Name-recognition would force me into a wakeful state, so my subconscious mind just refuses to acknowledge it at all.

Or, something like that, anyway.

I sleep curled up on my side under a sheet, a blanket, and a heavy quilt. I enjoy having lots of covers on me and become frustrated when I am unable to do so due to temperature.

When I do sleep, its generally with the pillow over top of my head, all the covers over me, curled loosely in a ball, pressed hard against the corner where my bed meets the wall.

I wear pajamas and sleep on the side holding my stuffed animal rabbit April in one arm with my other hand under the pillow. I also drool on the pillow occasionally. I think that might be my retainer's fault, though.

Beat me to it. :p

My sleeping style changes with the seasons. Mainly because the insulation in my room is so crap I have to move with the times. I've slept in a down jacket before now...

I can only fall asleep on my side unless I'm exceptionally tired, in which case I've once fallen asleep standing up. If I have an uninteresting night's sleep (no dreams that I remember) then I tend to wake up on my side and, as such, have either a killer shoulder pain or completely dead arm. If I have a fun night's sleep (crazy vivid dreams and horrible nightmares) then I can wake up in other parts of the room. :)

ON my back or side, under at least a warm blanket and with pajama pants and a shirt and undergarmant...the way it should be done.

I sleep sans clothing, sometimes with my head crammed between the pillows to shut out the light. I alternate between sleeping on my side and on my belly. Covers are a must.

As of late, I haven't been getting much sleep either. 4 to 5 hours on average, with the occasional weekend sleep-in to somewhat make up for it. I blame NSG entirely.

On my belly, without underwear (if its cold I wear pants), with some cover (usually I dont cover my feet). Always with socks, and usually from 7 to 9 hours. That is when I go to sleep. I always wake up with my belly up, cover all around the room and with my mouth dry.

it has to be on my side completely naked with my feet cold and always after a hot shower...oh and I drool, require a wall to face and it must be my bed

its hard being me fortunately if I'm exhausted/cuddling I can sleep anywhere which isn't much of a superpower :(

I sleep better alone sometimes, I like to sleep on couches more than beds. I only sleep 4-5 hours a night, which is pretty typical of all the stay at home mom's I know, while most of the kids and dads end up sleeping 8 hours or more.

You're telling me you'll make an exception in what your religion demands so you can sleep, but not for something like wife beating?

I usually fall asleep on my side, sometimes my back but I wake up completely different so who knows how I sleep. I'd have to video tape myself sleeping to see and that's a little odd.

For me, sleeping isn't a big deal. When alone, most of the times I just find myself sleepy, drop on my back and shut down. No pillows or covers.
In general, I'd prefer to sleep in underwear and with cover, but I hardly ever bother with that. Except if it's cold, in which case I find some cover.

When not alone, it's less about sleeping anyway.

I sleep on my side, in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, curled loosley in a ball, duvet fallen off the bed...
Or lying on my sofa surrounded by cushions, t.v. still on, tub of ice-cream on the floor, two spoons and one of my mates lying on the other side of the cushion wall...*

That or I'm still awake and using my laptop, drinking coffee...

* At a sleepover.. Not just every night...

I haven't been sleeping too well lately, and I know that having an exercise routine helps with that. I need to get cracking on it.

Bah...screwed up my votes on the poll.

I sleep with one sheet and one heavy quilt. I wear pajama pants and old t-shirts to bed. I lie on my back with my arms crossed under/behind my head as I fall asleep, but have woken up in almost all concievable sleeping positions, including having turned completely around in bed so that my feet are on my pillow. :p

I also have a fan running as I sleep 365 days a year. Good random noise to drown out other sounds.

That said, I get less sleep than I would like. *shakes fist at school, work, family, and the stupid church bells down the block*

I can sleep almost anywhere in almost any conditions. But I generally prefer to be embryonic position. All curled up and a duvet tucked tightly around me. I tend to wear boxers and a t-shirt when I sleep. No special sleeping clothes for me.

On the question of 'How do you sleep?'
Thre are a few things to work through.
Naturally i sleep on my side, though also on my back, i used to sleep on my belly but i think that gives me a sore neck now adays, if it doesn't i still don't care to find out.
If it is really hot, i'll sleep above the covers thus, with no covers, i do normally sleep under the covers, late night out or not at my place good chance i'll sleep fully clothed, very rarley fully not clothed, occasionally semi-clothed, i might be found to be drooling on the pillow and sometimes yeah,
sleep? what the hell is that?
But i can sleep on my feet too.:)
