I admit, I didn't have the patience to watch all of the third one. But the awesomeness of lego cannot be stated enough.

Lego is one of those things that I'm convinced is impossible to outgrow. Your creations merely become more complicated.

And mine was stupid and made of fail. :(Stop motion takes a lot of time and effort...

You need to able to hold your camera steady. Best solution is put it on a tripod and only touch it when you want to take a frame.

Don't start out with humanoid shapes. Humans are bitches to make and to recreate their movement. Stick to simpler things.

Film uses 24 frames per second and TV 25 per second. So if you want very smooth animation then use that and only move your models by very miniscule amounts each frame. Or go for the classic jerkiness of stop-motion. Less frames, more movement per frame, easier to make.

Try and have more than one thing moving each frame. Limited movement makes things boring. Though a little in moderation can be good.

That's the extent of my knowledge about stop-motion. Not sure how accurate or useful it is. :S Good luck with the animation though, Ruffy.
