I think the title really says it all. I'd like to think I was credible, but I wonder if anyone else thinks that. I also want to know who else thinks they are credible or not, or who you find to be the most credible on this site.

I don't expect anyone to be presenting objective truth here or anywhere. I believe that you're probably presenting genuine opinions, rather than deliberately trolling or venting some unrelated anger or frustration, sure. Most of the contents of this forum are either some attempt at persuasion or requests for others' opinions. Neither of those lend themselves to impartiality, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt to those who offer cogent opinions on a topic, so you're credible until you contradict yourself in some substantial way, I guess.

If we are not credible however, what do we say? If I say I am not credible then wouldn't that contradict itself and thus mean I am credible? which of course means I am not credible...A non-credible person is so non-credible that they say they are credible!

this is teh interwebs, no-one is particularly credible. or at least it's really really hard to appear credible.

and, in regards to what i thought this thread was about before i read the posts - in RL only one of my friends finds my personal/political beliefs particularly credible and i haven't seen her in ages. most people think i'm just a delusional idiot i think, at least in regards to my political beliefs. all my friends are either rabid capitalists, pussy-footing liberal democrats or apathetic conservatives, i guess anarchism doesn't fit in well with their word views.
