Well I am Catholic but I did find what I thought to be Ganesh hiding in my cookie jay. He appears to be a sucker for chocolate chip.

No, it was under the couch, along with the remote, a vibrator and a bag of chips.

Oh, I don't know - I'm listening to 'Rocket To Russia' right now, and it doesn't seem unduly drab. I think it depends upon the context.

I can see how you must have been thinking about drab things, listening to drab music like that, Fass, but you don't have to share.

Wow, I'm thoroughly unimpressed. That shit is about on par with American pop music for Spaghetti's sake! Maybe 3 steps past Brittany Spears and one behind Fergie... And a fucking light year behind the likes of Nightwish in their heyday.

I found Religion down the back of my sofa once. Apparently, my dad was a fan of Spear of Destiny during the 80's.

I don't.
Mainly because I don't do that sort of thing.

Although if I did, it'd a draw between Ruffy, Ifreann, Hugh Grant and the Phantom of the Opera, Erik.

Specifically, the Ramones. Who else agrees?

The Ramones inspired my personal epiphany that I was simply never meant to rock, however much I may appreciate rocking in others. In my youth I saw the mosh pit as the symbol of everything manly that an adolescent male could aspire to. Sheer rampant violence for no sake but its own. Valhalla in Midgard.

The Ramones were the first concert I ever attended, and after the opening act was jeered off stage with taunts of "hey! ho! Let's go," I headed to the outer ring of the mosh pit with the friend who had accompanied me there. Once the jumping began, I flung myself in. I was fairly slight in those days, so when I found myself surrounded by people grinding enthusiastically to the music, but with both feet planted firmly on the floor, I assumed I had been tossed clear of the mosh pit.

Undaunted, I flung myself back in, and in short order I found myself again outside the mosh. One more time I entered, and one more time I found that I was once again surrounded not by metalheads, but by rock-and-roll enthusiasts. I turned to my friend to voice my frustration, only to find that she was outside the mosh pit. I however was in the middle of the mosh pit surrounded by people who didn't feel like moshing.

The vibrant, raucous, and energetic sound explosion that is the Ramones in Concert proved to be no match for the aggressive placidity that is my company. That's when I had to pack it in and devote what remained of my youth to goth music.
