They should have done this a long time ago, or better yet, never given him honorary degrees in the first place. I find this hogwash of him being a "humane revolutionary" extremely appalling. This is a man who led a terrorist organization that, when fighting against white minority rule, killed mostly blacks - yes, blacks - the vast majority of whom were innocent, peace-loving people that had no connection to the government. People had body parts sliced off, cooked, and fed to their spouses; missionaries who came to help poor people were also mercilessly slaughtered, as well as their children, even babies. Also interestingly, whatever faults Rhodesia had, it was far more democratic and respectful of human rights than most other African countries. The assholes who awarded Mugabe the degree are all the more despicable considering that, just a few years previously (around 1983), his government slaughtered at least 10,000 Ndebele people, including women and children. Humane revolutionary, my ass!

Right on! The UK and USA sold out to "freedom fighters" when it suited them. When they then get hit by the same tactics, they're terrorists.

Talkabout reaping what you sow...
