Islam vs. Scientology

Suppose an Islamist (a moderate one who isn't a terrorist but has family relations that secretly are) spoke out against Scientology effectively and his criticism became a commonly seen file on the internet whenever Scientology was mentioned. Suppose the Scientologists kill him in an alley and the closest building they could store the body was was a meat packing plant where all the frozen pork was. This makes top news shortly after the people discover the body thus sparking a cult war between Islamic terrorists and Scientologists.

Who would win? What would you expect to happen?

I chose the last option. No one can wipe out a religion through war.

Islamic radicals use explosives.

Scientologists use lawsuits.

I wonder who will win?

By being a Christian you conform to the norms and laws of the church, so to some extent you are being controlled. Not directly and to a drastic level, but you're not allowed to eat meat on Friday. Do so and you'll go to hell.

Islam. There are far more Muslims than Scientologists, and they don't care about lawsuits. Additionally, I don't see many people coming to the defense of Scientology's adherents.

Thats catholocism.

Ok, don't bed with another man then.

Also. Same difference.

I would have to know your beliefs on certain things to give you a logical reason so I'll make a hypothetical. A Pastor/Priest or whatever is against homosexuality. The Christians in his church are against this as well. What are the chances that they believe this simply because he "Preaches" this? This is an accurate portrayal for most religions. People will blindly follow what their Church leader says without question. Now I'm not speaking for EVERYONE of course. This is also my opinion through the way I see religion. You obviously feel different and thats good. I also thank you for not getting worked up like I know many religious people would when you confront them with such a statement.

Purging the world of Tom Cruise and John Travolta is something Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Nontheists and everyone else can agree upon. Maybe this is the secret to world peace...

Also cause he has the same birthday as me. We'll spare him.

Tom needs to get hit by a cruise missile. He must be killed by fire.

Oopsy ... my bad.

Or maybe it's because it's taught in the Bible.

It was an example, hence my calling it a "Hypothetical situation".

Doesn't having moles in the US government count as an advantage over Islam. I mean the scientologists might order marshall law or something. Thus giving them some more units in this cult war.

Edit: Hey this would make a good C&C game. :p Command and Conquer The Brain wars.

Who would win?

Hmm.. lets see. 1.3 milliard people (assuming all muslems participate) with the full power of national infrastructures and militaries as well as some of the richest indivduals on this planet vs 500 000 wealthy people with some on-stage combat simulation experience.

What was your question again ;) ?

well rich people fighting each other would be interesting, think of all the high tech man eating robots they'd build

Actually the US military already has developed unmanned robots with weaponry. I'm sure eating a human is only a small step from there.

Scientologists will show Bush this proof of Islamic atrocities:

- And he'll support'em in their holy war. Their name sounds scientific and they are against Islam - what else to wish?
