Well, it's that time again. It's time to get the fear machine working in full force because after all if people aren't scared they might not agree with you? We all know that that superior ideas are not the answer to the world's problems, scaring the shit out of people is. Enough of that. On to the commercial and my ad lib of what it said. Cue the frightning mood music and you hear "playing games with the funding for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is not the right way to support our troops.....Support the troops so we can fight terrorists over there instead of fighting them here..." (Sound of explosive mushroom cloud like fireball, presumably nuclear and large firey inferno). Counting the ways in which this commercial is stupid would take too much time so I'll open it up to you all. What is the worst case of propaganda you have ever seen on TV, in print, or on the radio? On an aside, how in the hell can the Bush adminstration suddenly be the moral compass of how to properly fund and support the troops, when they didn't do that in the first place? They sent them off without the proper equipment, body armor, etc. Suddenly if someone tries to point out that, "Hey, you mothertruckers have been wrong about EVERYTHING, let's give someone else a shot" they are "un-American?" Let's get it down to what they mean. If you don't support Bush you are un-American. What a pomppus, meglomaniacal douchebag this man is. :confused:

If I ever hear some one say to my face "we are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here," some one will be lucky they don't get punched in their ignorant face. Or a headbutt. That will combine my need to act out violence against stupidity and the need to bang my head on something to wipe the memory of the stupidity from my mind.
