My turn for a rant.

I've had it with my family. Right now they've been pissing me of more than ever. I just have an urge to walk out of the door and not come back. Here's the situation.

Currently I'm ill with the flu so I'm sitting here feeling like crap. Even though I feel sick I've still managed to clean the house and sort out lunch for my brother and sister, then going to bed for a while. My mum comes in from shopping and the first thing she does....She complains. Why is the house a mess?! Why is this here? She just had a go at me for not putting the rubbish out correctly and then saying "Even you can't be that stupid."

I'm now actually counting down the days until I move out (roll on September) because I seriously have had it. I work as hard as my parents and pay for my own way and they complain when I do that. So when I , on the rare occurence ask to borrow some money, they moan about how I should fend for myself.

Keep me sane NSG before I actually rip someones head off.

Ok, go away and never meet them again.

When they turn old, go back home and spit on their faces, saying "I hope you die a gruesome death quite soon".

Why? Because they complained about garbage.

You'll be gone soon...although you could always go out of the way to show them what they'll lack without you around. Quit cleaning, pack no more lunches and shrug when your mom gripes at you. Give them a week or two of that, then get back to your old ways. That'll teach 'em.

I could do that as I do make my brothers and sisters lunches for school. I could also quit taking them to park or stop cleaning he house when they're not here.

these little annoyances are natures way of preparing you to leave home without looking back.

just keep the day marked on your calendar and hope that you can keep your cool until the day you leave. try your best not to get into fights with your parents. they can escalate into fights so bad that it will cause hurt feelings for many years.

ignore everything you can ignore and just do your best to prepare yourself for the future. college will be the best time of your life (at least so far)

This seems like a simple problem to solve (as in determining the necessary steps - I'm not going to speculate on the ease of actually carrying them out). Break off contact at the earliest opportunity. If they care, they'll re-establish it, if not, you'll know you've done the right thing.

Do you love your parents?
Do they love you?

If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then deal with it. They probably won't ever change. More than likely they're nagging because (at least in their eyes) they think it will motivate you to do better.

Oh and just to nitpick at your statement.
You say you cleaned up, yet your mum still thought the place was a mess. Maybe she thought you could have done a better job of it?
You pay your own way, yet on occasion still have to ask to borrow money. They know they won't always be there, maybe they worry about you being dependent on them and being prepared.

Or they're just sadistic SOBs.
