I hate the italian domain registration authority (http://www.nic.it)! Hate hate hate hate. I'm trying an' register an .it domain and they asked me also a bloody SNAILMAIL/FAX, because they want a signed declaration of blahblahblah my responsibility if a meteor knocks out the DNS and Bin Laden cracks my site.
Of course, the fax is always impossible to contact. By the Supreme Pig, it's taking me a whole WEEK! Damn them, I need it for WORK not for entertainment. And, of course, it is impossible to call the jerks via telephone. May the Supreme Pig deny them of Bologna LIFELONG!

Must be just the Italians... I registered my domain on a whim, cost a few quid a year and required I filled in a simple web-form. There we go, (my alias).co.uk, winner.

No way... the authority is hosted by the National Research Council at the university city of Pisa... lots of geeky nerds (I'm a nerd, but not that geeky). If I send them porno, they will begin staring at the pictures for HOURS instead of getting on with the bloody work.
