To navigate your computer, that is, not to poke on piles of dirt or to keep smelly strangers away.

Meaningless poll comming.

"Och så klicken med musen!"

I tend to stick to optical mice and track/touch pads (is that what they're called?) as fancy strikes me.

I use a Microsoft USB mouse when I'm at a desk and the touchpad when I'm not.

Someday soon I want a thought-controlled laptop. I'll have to see what Emotiv comes up with next...first the laptop, then my entire body! Being a cyborg is going to be so awesome, especially once I've got the sleek, metallic body and the upgraded memory and cognition.

But I digress.

A happy laptop owner then? I find the touch pad way to cumbersome to use and I stick to a gaming grade laser mouse, its great to switch sensitivity when working with graphics:)

Touchpad when on the move, I guess?

I use the trackball...it's easier on my wrist than the regular type of mouse. Plus it's more fun to use in MMORPGs. :D

A true googleboy! (I love to sneak in Otherland references when I can, it has nothing to do with the search engine) Myself, I just wait until screams of frustration and random punches are understood by machines. That will finally mean I could communicate with this shiny hardware...

I would be were my funds to afford me the ability to replace my currently insubordinate excuse for a portable number pusher.

I'm quite proficient in the use of my fingers, so I need no such enhancements as you deign to employ. Not to begrudge you them, naturally.

I tried to use the touchpad when playing Counter-strike... it was possibly more impossible than making sense out of Bob Dylan...

I never use anything but the touchpad on my laptop. I just love touching it inappropriately.....;)

My funds suit my lifestyle, the blessing of a 17' screen made my 'laptop' more of a tabletop and very portable, if a diesel truck is avalible.

Ahh, my clumsy fingers find it hard to even unhook a bra so I stick to less sophisticated means of navigation...

I figure I'll just cut out the middleman and become hardware. I'll teach that computer to work properly from the inside. I'm sure if I bitch at it enough in its own machine code it will work properly.

That's so bourgeois.

If the clumsiness follows from their girth, I assure you no one should complain that they err.

I tried to do a "posting from your wii" joke for this, but it just didn't work the way I wanted it to. :(

I currently have a Logitech G5 laser mouse, but before that, I had the Logitech MX-510 in blue.

I use a cheap optical USB mouse with cable and scrollwheel. Before I had a serial mouse from the last century.

Using this (http://carl.kenner.googlepages.com/glovepie) I hope to use a Wiimote on my PC. *nods*

Other than that, the logitech gaming mouse, forget the model.
