Off the top of my head - Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Airplane! and Brazil (actually, I want to include Time Bandits and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen as well, but I think one Terry Gilliam film is enough).
Erm...Blue Velvet was 80s, wasn't it? *checks* Yep, 1986.
And Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Best film of my childhood.

It's very good. Better than TABM, I'd say. However, I'd say Brazil is my favourite Gilliam film (not including the Crimson Permanent Assurance :p)

Well, I already had a Val Kilmer selection up there...and Val Kilmer with a sword is way sexier than a Val Kilmer in a flight suit...
That being said, I am sad to not have included Labyrinth and Top Gun. :(

Heh, Top Gun. As Val Kilmer said when asked about his first gay role (in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang), "I think many people think Top Gun was my first gay role".

Damn, the 80´s were uber awesome indeed.
Best music, best movies, best hair styles. Damn, even Michael Jackson was human.
I don't know why anyone liked "The Empire Strikes Back." Seriously...that was one of the most boring movies I've ever watched. Everytime I watch it I struggle to get through the entire thing. Horrible, really.
Anyway, in no particular order:
1. Honey I Shrunk The Kids, even if its cheesy.
2. Back to the Future
3. Back to the Future Part Two
4. Back to the Future Part Three
5. Amadeus.

even though I'm a huge star wars fan, I have to agree that Empire strikes back was the worst of the trilogy. btw, I was only born on 1992:) Still, my dad is from the 80s, so I've seen alot of the movies (and liked most of them, especially Return of the Jedi and Bullers day off)

And Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Best film of my childhood.
My thoughts exactly. Whe I was four years old, I memorised the entire script. Heh, I watched that movie almost every day, along with old Rocky & Bullwinkle episodes.
As for the list as a whole? Well, let's get right to it.

Goonies was like the perfect adventure movie for kids in the 80´s. I was born in 83 and loved watching it.
Talking about kid´s movies, Neverending story was quite cool when I was a kid.

Almost tempted to make two separate lists, for the movies I loved during the 80's, and the ones I love now. But I won't. I'm gonna go with the childhood favorites that I still love.
The Lost Boys
The Goonies
The Neverending Story
Weird Science (Yeah, that's right. I said it.)
Friday the 13th (any of them, really)
Hellraiser
Nightmare on Elm Street (basically, I'm a sucker for 80's horror, period)
Ghostbusters
Blade Runner
Terminator
Willow
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
I realize that's more than 10, but it could be expanded on into near infinity. 80's movies rock my socks off. All the way off. Hell, they rocks my socks off so hard they actually put themselves in the hamper.

Tron sucks.
Not be a grammar nazi about it, but no, I do believe that it's properly spelled, 't-r-o-l-l-s-s-u-c-k'.
