So ever since watching The Dresden Files, I've had that song "that old black magic" stuck in my head, only the version in my head is slow and a bit sad, while every version I can find is fast and cheerful. Does anyone know of a slow version of "That Old Black Magic?"
the one that stuck in my head as a kid growing up in the 50s was, i think the origeonal, at any rate, sung by "old blue eyes" himself. there are slow and fast parts in it. a slowed down version just to make it his own version of it, sounds like something tony bennet might have done in the early sixties. but i'm only guessing. barbra striesand was of course famous for doing slower or faster, mostly slower versions of everything she covered. don't know of her having done that one though.
