I meant Western World vs. Eastern World.

Ok that was a litte vague. here's what i mean:

West(United States,Europe,France?,germany?etc.)
East(China,Russia,North Korea,India?,etc.)

Some of East that support's the West will be on that team and vice versa.

If it's West vs. East (USA) I'm going with New York kicking everyone's butt :).

I'm not going to read the OP, and assume you are talking about the east side gangsters and the west side gangsters. Of course, the East side wins here, as they have the East Side Boys and Vanilla Ice.

Well clearly if the west fights the east there will be a nuclear war.

That means two types of species will survive cockroaches and Jews. So the Jews win.

aye, the west would totally come first. instant gratification junkies the lot of 'em.

The East would probably win as the West would send out troops, there would be a public backlash when the first caskets are shown on TV and the Senate would spend the next few years arguing to bring the troops home.

I always did think it was a bit strange as you can reachany point in the world by traveling in an easterly direction. And suprise surprise the same thing happens if you head west :rolleyes:

I also always wondered why the Americans chose west for themself. What was wrong with being considered East? Is it something to do with Left and Right and right being considered better?

You see, the world we live in is shaped somewhat like a sphere, or is often referred to as "round". The cardinal points are defined as North and South pointing to the respective poles, while East and West are defined as "the sun rises in the east and sets in the west". Due to the nature of our world, you can move East and eventually arrive at your starting point, as well as you can West. I hope this clarifies the ambiguity you have struck us with.

There's always been a "right is better" mentality in Indo-European culture, despite left-handedness being the dominant trait. In some cultures people were forced to use their right hand even if they were born left handed. This in fact often leads to ambidexterity, as is the case with my dad. Which is why I'm left handed along with the fact that my mom is left handed. I know that in Hindu culture, all alms and such are taken with your right hand, and any exchange of money must be made with your right hand.

People also only ever shake with their right hands.

It's the same reason why Eurasia and "North" America are held to be The Northern Hemisphere. It's all an arbitrary set of distinctions done with superiority in mind.

but i guess i will go with East just because of the amount of manpower they have

Historically, the West (and western warfare styles) tends to do rather well against the East (and eastern warfare styles). Kid gloves off, a Grand Western Alliance would triumph, driven by western naval superiority and eventual air superiority, based off of Japan-Guam-Taiwan in the far east, and Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Massive, inhuman strategic bombing campaigns would be required, but it's doable.

I like how Jews get 25% of the vote. :D
