Whilst more restictions are being placed on normal citizens the rich and powerful get more protection. When is there going to be a revolution?

Clearly these new laws that prohibit publicity stunts and trespassing on government property are just the newest weapons in the arsenal of the super-rich that they use to kick beggars in the gut. Anyone should just be able to strole right into MI5 and do whatever they want and make a huge scene.

And another thing, I'm getting real sick and tired of all this talk about "revolution". The real rebellion will be against the omnipresent, "socially-minded", oppressive super-state, not the hundred plus indepent nations where you can choose your level of liberty by where you live.

One more thing, they should bring back floggings for serious criminal offenses. Some say that's cruel and unusual punishment but punishment should be. Punishment must be unusual or it serves no purpose. Punishment needs to be so unusual as to be significant, to deter, to instruct. While a judge should be benevolent in purpose, his sentences should cause the criminal to suffer punishment--and pain is the basic mechanism built into us by millions of years of evolution which safeguards us by warning when something threatens our survival. Why should society refuse to use such a highly perfected mechanism?
