The Greatest Music Video Ever!

First of all, I have a luke warm opinion of Weird Al Yankovic. I don't care for his parodies, but some of his original songs blow me away.
His greatest and funniest ever is 'Albuquerque'. So when I saw the following, I flipped out!
Warning: This is fairly long and quite sizeable. And if you've seen it before, enjoy repetition. :p

No. I wonder if it's their official theme song.
I love that song and that video kicked ass. It's like an NSG thread hijack set to music. :)

It's a mess to drive through with a truck, but they have real indians selling beads and food at the train station, so I guess it's a wash. :p
Funny video.

Never heard of them before. Not that I could really make out what they were growling about, but are they Swedish, or just not terribly fond of Finnish (not that I'd blame them)?

I think it's surprising that some of the members are supposed to have Swedish as their native language, as their songs tend to contain several grammatical errors native speakers would never make. Then again, perhaps they are acceptable variations in Finnish Swedish. Anyhow, this struck me as very Finnish: "Raimoranta died by falling off a bridge in Helsinki after having consumed too much alcohol".

Still, Finns singing in Swedish tend to do about as good job of it as Germans singing in English, in my experience. Not that I'd be any better. Swedish is fucking hard.Anyhow, this struck me as very Finnish: "Raimoranta died by falling off a bridge in Helsinki after having consumed too much alcohol"....I knew a punker from Finland who died the same way a couple of years ago. Fell in the Moldau though.

Depends on what your native language is and how used you are to meshes of Germanic and Romance.

It's "The Bad Touch".
There is a video to that song? Awesome! :)
Though I will dispute with you LG on the greatness of Weird Al's parodies. They are some of the greatest stuff out there, often making fun of idiot songs. Like that one Crash Test Dummies song he did a parody off of. I heard the original...

Depends on what your native language isI'm not sure I really have one anymore, though I'm semi-fluent in a handful of Germanic ones. My Swedish is pretty broken though. I tend to mix up words, spellings and syntax from all the Scandinavian countries.and how used you are to meshes of Germanic and Romance.Has anyone been used to that for the past 900 years? :p

Haha! I love their 'evil shredder'. It seems like I'm not the only person who has one!
As for Albuquerque - it's very stream-of-consciousness and random. I didn't know it was a Weird Al Yankovic song; although I should've guessed. It was veeery long; and there was no pause button! And the lead character stole Fry from Futurama's warddrobe. Still, it was worth a watch. Thanks for that. :D
