As for the topic: Yeah, I like my nation (and every single one of the 100% income tax :p) but I'm frustrated because I can't seem to improve it - but of course I live in a region of terrible overachievers.
My puppet is way younger than my main nation and it's also Democratic Socialist yet in the region it's in it's always one of the best if not the best in the ratings. My main nation, in contrast, usually gets rather miserable ratings in its region. *shakes fist at (beloved) region* :p

I disagree with all of the options on some issues, so I find myself dismissing quite a few of them. I was actually more where I wanted to be when dismissing them, but recently I got tired of that and started choosing options. Now I'm where I don't want to be and will have to redo it. But it won't take long.

I don't pay attention to nationpages.

I want a very low tax. like between 5-10% if that's possible. If it is, I will get there. Lowest I've been so far was in the 20's. Now I think I'm in the 40%.

hiya, thanks :). well i got it done and handed it in only 40 minutes late, but it was barely worth it. i think i managed just enough to pass though. i usually do pretty well in exams without revising so i rekon if i actually revise for my finals i can come away with a half-way decent degree! :D :p

i realised before i started writing it that the 12,000 words was a maximum so i aimed for 10,000. in the end i think i wrote less than 8,000 but the secretary said it wasn't the thinnest dissertation to be handed in so i rekon it'll be okay!

It can be tricky. Always go with the nuclear power option when given the energy issue (not bill). You don't need a lot of the budget to go to the environment if your GDP is big enough.

Mine had a recent military coup, and it's always been rather right-wing, since I got fed up with NS exagerations and decided to just go with it. But I did just restore the right to vote this morning.

For the most part I'm extremely pleased with my nation's progress. I have managed to juggle my economy, civil rights, and political freedoms very well to the point where they area all extremely high. Unfortunately, it seems I have ended up back dooring communism quiet by accident. My income taxrate is at 100 % and I'm not entirely certain how to get it down without hurting the economy or my civil rights. But I guess my people don't complain too much as government gives them everything they want and need.
