When you pass away from this life and into the next, what do you want your friends, family, or the world to remember about? What do you want your legacy t o be?

Well, presumably I'm either going to be cryonically preserved and then made in to a cyborg or successfully achieve it before I die, so I guess I'll be able to see my own legacy after the fact. I'm not too keen on the first one since it would be a lot more expensive, but that's the price you pay to kick ass.

Now if something random were to happen like being totally physically destroyed or launched in to the sun and I couldn't be brought back (and I've got plans for this too, it would just require me not dying in this manner in the next 20-30 years), I guess I'd go down as a somewhat wealthy VC with a bunch of cool technology and the best internet connection in the United States.

My relatives might think I'm a bit of a bastard for willing my assets to myself, but you know if I'm coming back, I want my stuff.

That I was a decent enough guy that made them laugh from time to time. That and if I can open a few people's mind to different opinions or views that would be good too.

I'll want to have not messed up people's lives, and I'm not wholly concerned about what people think about me. As long as they're okay, I'm okay with whatever I leave behind.

I'd like it if they said, "That guy was alright to hang out with from time to time."

I have no idea.

I want my legacy to be a mathematical breakthrough. I want to have achieved the one thing that will make my name immortal, the one thing which will ensure my name is never forgotten. Physical theories come and go, but a mathematical proof is forever.

We remember Pythagoras over two thousand years after his death. Will that also be true of even Einstein?
I doubt it.

Will it be true of any person who achieves a breakthrough in the realm of mathematics?

I want people to remember that I was a good guy, and respect me.

I want to become part of history, even if I have to kill the pope or something.

I intend to leave a legacy that all shall remember. I shall end unemployment in Canada by using surplus labour to build a city entirely of Lego. Mock me if you will, but the incredible awesomeness of a city of lego will pay for itself, not to mention the buzzing economy that total employment will create. It may require massive budget deficits, but the prestige we shall gain will be well worth it.
