I try not to think about it but I'd say:

1) tub girl

2) black vomit

I saw some guy called Eugene something getting his head sawed off whilst still alive (on t'internet with sound), In real life - my girlfriend puking up whole shrimp after a night out with the ladies at 3am and I have to get up for work at 7.

2) some... body left a large pile of crap (literally) right outside our office door. and one of my co workers stepped in it.

I'm completly desensitized to sick and disgusting things at this point, but the LAST thing that grossed me out was a video of pipe fitting.

Real life? I dont know actually. I guess I reached that point before I had the chance to see anything truly disgusting in real life.

IRL: It's a toss-up between the crazy guy who tried to get to the other side of the BART station in Oakland by running across the tracks and got pinned underneath the train. I was on the train that hit him and it was pretty freaky listening to the conductor (I think that's what they're called) come on the loudspeaker and say, "I just hit a man".

OR the time when my pet rats attacked the newest rat and I found him turned inside out. Don't mix Blues with Berkshires.

Maybe it's a little weird... but I get a little feeling of pride that I've seen thing like swap.avi in person. Get a bunch of people together at a kinky sex party, a little alcohol, people who cant turn down a dare... it was all in good fun and nobody thought it appalling. I wouldnt go so far as to say it was just a normal night, but no big deal.

Edit: if anyone can actually find something that I would find sick and disgusting I would be very surprised. These days I doubt such a thing exists.

Real life was a guy in a motorbike race coming off and flying straight into a wall, his bike slamming into him and then flipping up and over the wall, and then blood coming out under his helmet. From about 15 metres away, when I was 11. The guy ended up dying right there.

Actually, googling it is the best way to go, just make sure you don't use google image and be certain to only click explanatory links (like the wiki one for tubgirl) and not the pics/videos themselves.

The sickest thing I've seen in real life - a woman who was a neighbor of mine (many years ago) who killed her 4-year-old daughter for $5000.00 insurance. That's evil.

on the net? Watching Bud Dwyer(sp?) suicide on live tv in the 80s. out of all the things on the net, that makes me squirm the most, mainly because of all the blood that rushes out of his nose after he does it.

The worst on the internet was when I saw how some doctors removed the brain of a cadaver by basically sawing the head open and yanking the brain out. My memory is fuzzy on this because I saw this 5 years ago, but it was one of the few videos that made me flinch.

Either that or a picture of a woman using a knife to slit her throat open. Her facial expression when she was doing this was what really stuck out in my mind.

In real life I haven't really seen anything disturbing. I'll just go with accidentally walking into the bathroom when my mom was naked and about to take a shower.

Oh yeah, there was another one that literally made me almost want to cry. It was on Ifilm under the war category, and it was an insurgent sniper vid killing american troops(thats not the bad part) the worst part was at the end when one of the insurgents took a knife and cut a man's throat and then cut his head off.

IRL, Seeing a Jumping Castle explode right next to me and watching a kid fly out of it 20 meters in the air only to fall to the ground with an unusually satisfying crunch. Well it wasn't funny at the time.

I've seen some exceptionally horrendous stuff in real life. If I have a "Top Ten" of the most disgusting in person, the autopsy on a 76 yr old jaundiced woman only ranks around 6 or 7. Even when the top of her head was removed and slivers of brain were taken to make slides.
Online-various crime scene/accident pics,as well as all the other unfortunate injuries and maladys.

The internet doesnt bring up the bile that real life scents and sounds,along with the visual does.

ANyway, just as most people here, I dont get surprised with anything anymore, real life or not. I guess the only thing that would freak me would be seeing a guy burning and screaming his lungs out in front of me.

The only thing that shocked me was a 50 year old man who said he had just been raped. That is fucked up.

Can't really say what I'd have to consider the sickest thing I've seen on the internet. I've seen a lot. Don't like blood'n'gore too much, though.

In real life, however, it either is the old guy lying dead on his stomach/face for 3 weeks - or the 20-year-old guy who got killed in a car accident and whose forehead consisted of only a whole while his mouth was literally overflowing with blood. :( Can't say I'm too fond of either experiences.

Oh, the sound is amusing. The images are disgusting. Then again, I was kind of used to that sort of imagery by the time I saw it, since I saw it as part of AMV Hell 0.

Internet: After hearing a lot about it, I asked my future wife to send me a link to tubgirl. Is it the worst? I don't know or care. Like pain, disgust has a saturation threshold. Nothing online surprises me anymore.

IRL: probably watching a man get hit by a car when I was about 12. He had died by the time the ambulance got to the scene.
