There is a poll here to see if people use watches on a regular basis.

I have a time keeping device, but it's not a watch......so I voted sometimes, because I do have a watch but I only wear it on Fridays.

I always wear a watch. It feels odd not being able to see the time at a glance.

I do, but more out of sentimentality and habit than for time keeping purposes.

I usually wear a watch. The watch comes off if I'm handling furniture. The same goes with sweaters or jackets that have zippers. Too easy to scratch up furniture that way. (Mover. Kinda.)

Yes, but not to look at the time. More as a fashion thing.

I was interested in this topic because I am never so pressured to look at the time that I need a watch. I would wear one more often if I got into the habit.

That's a point. I often find if I'm not wearing a watch, I reflexively look at my wrist to tell the time anyway. I even do it subconsciously to avert my eyes from other things. This goes even for long periods of time if I don't have a watch.

Heh. my grandma still hasn't got used to the date being displayed on wristwatches, let alone using a phone to tell the time. :p

I have three watches (one has a broken strap, though, and one of the others doesn't work). Never wear any of them. I didn't wear one for several years when I just didn't own one, and it felt awkward wearing one when I finally got them. Didn't pay for any of them - one was free with a pint of beer, and two were inherited.

I wear a watch...

when I haven't misplaced it...

when I find it...

when I remember to put one on...

I guess I don't wear a watch very often... :p

I miss my watch. =(

I lost it in an airport something like 2 years ago, and haven't found one I really liked since.

Must have been some watch!

The first watch I ever owned was a Transformers watch. Or maybe it was a Go-Bots watch. My money's on transformers though. The 'watch' would remove from the wrist band and transform into a robot.

Now I miss my old watch. :(

I don't think it was either. It was just a square... that changed into a robot.

Think like, 1981 to 1983. Maybe it was Go-Bots.

I don't wear my watch at night or if I forget to put it on.

Other than that, yes.

man, those were fun.

You know, we may be on to something.... maybe something to add to my list of crazy inventions... transforming watches for the grown-up kids!

But what to transform them to....?

Hmmmmmm.....
