Perhaps you are thinking about this wrong. Yes, the terrorists undertaking action are more educated and wealthier, but that doesn't mean poverty isn't a motivation in their actions.

I feel that Marx got a few things right about poverty and revolution. Most "revolutionary" action is undertaken by the middle class, because the middle class has the free time to discuss politics as well as means with which to undertake action. The poor and the working class do not have as much free time or free money to be highly political.

Thus, terrorism can be motivated by economic injustice, whether the terrorists themselves are victims or not. Especially if they perceive themselves as champions for the oppressed (which is the rhetoric which most terrorist organizations use) against a larger oppressive or corrupting force.

I've seen it before, though all the pictures from snopes you guys have posted now looks like green cartoon faces, and so do the originals on the snopes page.

Can anyone reproduce these images with an actual $20 note. I read somewhere about this not being true or something..
