Does anyone still listen to Boston? Great first album, but I'm not sure most NS'ers know anything about the band.
Anyway, sucks that Delp's dead.
Never heard of him, his death or his band until now.

Ah, maybe a US thing but more likely an old people thing, they're a 60's-70's band. Then again, I'm 17 and I know who they are. o_O
Still...sad day I found this out. V_V

the source quoted here doesnt elaborate, but I heard on the radio that he created the carbon monoxide by bringing charcoal barbecue(s) into the house and lighting them.
Its certainly an odd way to do things.

On the contrary, the source does elaborate. o_O
Delp, 55, was killed by carbon monoxide piped through a tube from a vehicle's exhaust pipe into a bathroom where he was found dead on March 9, said Lt. William Baldwin of the police in Atkinson, a southern New Hampshire town where Delp lived.

You may not know his name, but you all know songs by Boston, like this one:

The source isn't quite correct. Here's a more detailed write-up, updated last night (in the first days after his death police apparently hadn't released any suicide-related details to the press, because all the articles then were about how his death was so surprising because he was living so healthily etc.):

I didn't make a thread, but I posted about it in the "Musical Cravings" thread. Got a lot of grins, giggles, tears, and joy wrapped around tunes by Boston. : peace :
