Oh Dear
I find it funny...Arab countries go on and on about the plight of the Palestinans, but when it comes time to actually lift a finger to help them, those same countries become oddly silent.

Of course. It's like the Bush Adminstration chanting "Support Our Troops." A lot of people talk the talk, but they'll never so much as take a step for the walk.

Oh of course. The Palestinians have always been a convenient rallying point for Arab nationalistic opposition to Israel. Nobody ever gives the palest shade of shit for the Palestinians--not even their own leaders.

Indeed.
The ironic thing is that the country that cares the most is actually Israel, since they are the ones that actually have to deal with the problem at this time.
That's why you don't see Arab nations lining up to accept more Palestinan refugees, or offer them citizenship in their own nations, even though most could easily afford to do so...it has nothing to do with right-of-return or borders...it's the fact that as long as it's Israel's problem, it's not their problem.

"Trouble in Gaza"? That's odd, I though networks like Aljazeera reported the news.

The Palestinians are an easy weapon to use against Israel, as "gaaarsnarfsnargle bad Ashkenit colonial invasion" or "American imperialist cat's paw" lack the same legitimacy on an international stage.
