If the asteroid had missed, there probably wouldn't be humans here today either to find out how it would have turned out.
Pity it didn't miss.
Liberal propaganda implying fossils weren't put there by the Devil.
Must've been the homosexual brigade of planters...they handle all of Satan's dinosaur burial activities.
Pity it didn't miss.
Raptor Jesus would have far more followers.

But what of Raptor Mohammed? Would his followers be declaring jihad against the followers of Raptor Jesus?

And all the while Raptor Buddha's followers would just sit there meditating all day.

Interesting. I always am intrigued by theories of other intelligent life here on Earth.

Harry Harrison's West of Eden dealt with just that.
BTW, the egg came first. The zygote that would develop into the first distinct chicken had to have been formed from compatible gametes from non-chicken parents. Of course, as evolutionary changes are gradual (even rapid evolutionary events are slow when looked at on a generational basis), there really wasn't any one point in time where you could say "this generation is not chickens and this generation is".

Single-celled bacteria. The egg eventually came along as a part of sexual reproduction and existed in many species before the chicken evolved from its own ancestors, which undoubtedly used eggs as well.
So I suppose you could say egg, though it's really a stretch, since we're talking about chicken eggs, and as such they both came about at the same time, really, as a chicken egg can't exist without a chicken and a chicken can't exist without a chicken egg.
