The new FX network TV show "The Riches" premiered last night. Did anyone on NS catch it? Eddie Izzard was really good in it and he didn't even have to dress in drag. It's a pretty interesting idea for a show. A family of traveling gypsy con artists end up impersonating a rich family who die in a car accident.

I thought it was fantastic. I hope it's not going to be a one-season job, like FX did with Thief.

It was re-run right after it was run (at least, on the cable network I have).
I thought it was ok, but I don't know if I'll continue to watch it.

I love FX shows.
Didn't know this was on lastnight.. :( Guess I'll watch the rerun sometime this week.. I know I'll love this show.
It didn't seem that good to me. But then again, I don't like much of what they put on tv for entertainment. For instance, evryone loves 24, even my mum...but damn, I hate that show with a passion. Meh, tv sucks.

I've seen the previews. I do think that Eddie Izzard looks better shaven, in makeup, and in a dress, but I guess that's just me, hehe.

No, 24 (or as I saw someone put it, 'torture porn') sucks...
I liked it overall, but had some uneven points in it. It didn't over explain itself too much, which was cool. The set up is interesting, but I don't know how sustainable. Right now, though, my only other option is The Black Donnely's (well, there are a lot of options, thats just what I was watching before) and I'd rather watch The Riches than yet another gangster wannabe growing up in the tough streets family killing thing. I shouldn't complain too much, at least it's not a procedural show...
