*mirth*

Reminds me of that Chavez sound bite: "Yesterday, the devil came here, right here, right here. And it smells of sulfur still today. This table that I now standing in front of, yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this rostrum, the president of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer to as the devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world, truly, as the owner of the world."

I'm not entirely certain that the traditional rites involved spraying Lysol all over everything while exclaiming, "What's that smell?", but I approve of this kind of political commentary. ;)

Doesn't cleansing the Taint of Bush usually involves a volley of Cyclonic Torpedoes at the offending site?

In other news the Beijing government offered to "purify" the tainted Bush site near the mayan temple with a few of their best nuclear warheads. The Chinese military is pleased to see how well their nukes clear out areas.[onion impression/]

I think cleansing a location like that would require a holy artifact roughly on the level of the True Cross.

Even a plasma stripper wouldn't do the job to remove all evil residue of Shrubya.
Time to consider sub-nukyaler options (all of 'em 'r' on the table)

No, no. You warp spacetime so that the site never existed in the first place.

Couldn't we just go back and convince Bush that it's better for him to sell waterbeds for a living instead of going into politics?

Even that could result in disaster, like a drowning or something.
I find myself conflicted, though, since evidence points to the idea that he may have choked himself to death on siphoning instead of a near-miss with a pretzel.

Then move on to the temple mount, and his administration runs quickly out of funding too.

I don't see why you would clean your bush, as it's only going to get messy anyway. I mean, look at this bush. So many things probably live in there, it's not even funny. :D

The True Cross with Jesus still attached would be the minimum required, I reckon...

From the linked article:
"That a person like (Bush) with the persecution of our migrant brothers in the United States, with the wars he has provoked is going to walk in our sacred lands is an offense for the Mayan people and their culture," Juan Tiney, director of a Mayan non-governmental organization with close ties to Mayan religious and political leaders, told The Associated Press.

The president is working to shore up U.S. allies amid the widespread perception that his administration has neglected Latin America since the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

I wholeheartedly concur concur with the Mayan priesthood and people, or at least this person who apparently speaks for them.

As for the second paragraph I quoted, I think Latin America is far better off now that Bush has neglected it for the last 6 years. Unfortunately, this freedom from Manifest Destiny is coming at a high price for many others.
