Lizasauria, have you ever heard a human sing while giving birth? No? No! That's just ridiculous, you cannot sing while giving birth.

Yup. =)
Plus her singing would be akin....*GET THIS ****ING THING OUT OF ME! GET OUT OF HERE! BEFORE I HURT THIS BABY SOME MORE!*
Or so TV shows it....while maintaining this baby hurting thing topic of yours.

How is she hurting it? Its my understanding that the baby does all the hurting. Hence me coming up with the 'BABY DON'T HURT ME' song pun.

I meant that the mother feels a need to harm the baby at that point...
seriously though, the pun thing isn't very funny. Although you could try the morning crowd and see how they react to it.

I've heard of cases where some women were glad when the pains started because they were anxious to become a parent.

Dude. That just isn't funny.
It's not.
Don't hurt me.
No more.

I'm thinking someone should come up with a song called "I Want An Epidural".
Just a thought. Don't mind me.

Being born is apparently the most traumatic thing most people will ever go through in their life. The late development of long term memory was an advantage evolved in the higher mammals, if we were born with a full capacity for memory we would all have permenant PTS.

That would not be a "silent birth."
Not funny, much like Murphy Brown singing "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" after giving birth to her son. Ew.
