I'm currently trying to put together an album of pictures that collectively illustrate the absurdity, nay surreality, of modern life. Could be pictures of anything... ones that make a political point, ones that look weird, ones that are just plain funny.
Anyway, I don't know where to look and I only have about eight, so it's not really going too well, owing mainly to my poor knowledge of where to find such things.
So... if anybody is willing to aid and abet a facetious goon such as myself, it would be greatly appreciated. Let the floodgates open!
*sits for ten minutes, nothing happens, watches tumbleweed for further five, still nothing happens, stares at dust blowing across doorstep for two hours, nothing happens, watches Lost for five minutes, takes own life*

The Colonel in Kyoto (http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g66/Boonytopia/?action=view¤t=DSC01999.jpg).
That's about all I can come up with.

What you see here is an image that I took at the Vietnam Wall in Washington. I believe those fifty-thousand names demonstrate some true surreality lives wasted for what many would see to be nothing, and the reflection of the trees on the wall also offers a level of symbolism. Specifically reflecting the modern day in the Vietnam era, regarding our current, somewhat pointless war in Iraq.

Many thanks to all those who've posted pics / links. I now have upwards of 60 fairly deranged photographs on my Facebook account. I could show you them... but that would be divulging the closely guarded secret of my identity.

I like how the trees and the angle make the wall look huge, almost unending.
