For both men and women, what is your type generally? I'll try and make a poll for body types, I guess, but everything else you specifically want in a significant other you can post here.

I don't think I considered body type consciously when I was looking for a SO.

Well, body type tends to be more specific.

I didn't want to be like 'Brunette, redhead, black, asian, etc.' because you could like them all. People tend to like a certain body type the best.

And personality traits would be too many to list.

i'm tall and skinny and i tend to like girls that are quite skinny too, just not too much, it shouldn't look unhealthy.

I don't pick significant others based on body type, but I picked "Just taking care of yourself and being athletic is sexy, man." because my ideal significant other would have that type of body.

B+, although I don't normally indulge, what with the whole "first degree assault"-thing.

Well, any availible person whom you are attracted to is a choice. It's just that, perhaps subconsciously, you begin to screen people until you decide who you'd like to pursue a releationship with. That is where dating comes in, friend.

I dont care much about the body, I´m more of a face guy.

But one thing I do care about is the hips/legs. A girl with too skinny legs doesnt atract me. But a woman with a big hip and full legs is awesome.

In all honesty, I can deal with anything from slim bordering skinny to "fleshy". Fat people can fuck off, and those who are anaemically thin, omitting those wioth conditions, should try looking in a mirror once in a while.

No, more like the "real" "Phantom himself," as portrayed in the original novel. Although I do admire Michael Crawford, it's Leroux's Erik that I really admire.

EDIT: Too clever perhaps. "Negotiate" can mean "to move through, around, or over in a satisfactory manner." Don't shoot first if you're trying to make a good impression ...

A girl needs to be thin, absolutely. Not necessarily anorexic, but even a small amount of excess fat is a severe turn-off. The lower limit for weight is far away, and usually cannot be reached by healthy people. Supermodels would have nice bodies, if they weren't so damn tall.

I mean, if it was a serious thread about body type it wouldn't just distinguish between people based on fat - muscular - skinny. Even the alchemic distinctions of the four humours were more scientific.

What's my type? Smart, funny, kind, and at least moderately musically talented. As for body types, I tend to prefer short guys to tall ones and thin guys to plump ones, but those are hardly immutable laws or anything.

I'm somewhat open-minded (though I can't really see myself with a guy who was too, too heavy), but currently, it's wiry. Oh, what abs!
