Red Dragon -> Classical Dragon.

Yet, I´ve also felt respect for the blue dragon, but that is only because I like ice.

Hmmm...let's see...detecting gems versus wanton destruction. I'll take the latter, thanks.

Seriously, the blue dragon. Lawful, serious, smart, more civilized than most of their more chaotic counterparts. Perfect companion for en evil knight.

The blue dragon is my favourite, too, but I had to vote for the Hoff dragon. :D

As a joke, fuck off, Geek!, you are almost as geek as I am.

Almost. ;)

EDIT: All these timewarps are making me dizzy.

No of course not. If I were a DM, I would make a campaign that ended with a fight with the Tarrasque in a dead magic plane. :D

This going to be sooo geeky...

"I have fought against one, for a while. Never got close, and my first thought was, Wow, now that's a new definition of ugly, the last was, spoken out loud Well, we stand no chance, I think it's time to teleport far, far away, don't you agree, lads?"

Black Dragon.

Nothing says "I'm going to eat you, then follow your scent to your village and eat every last person there," like the ability to breathe acid and solid black scales.

Not true. Dead magic zones and planes only effect magical effects. A magical creature, provided it hasn't been summoned there, would still function normally. Any supernatural and spell-like abilities that it has would be suppressed.

Though in the tarrasque's case, it's not like it matters.

Wha? Good dragons are for riding them into the heat of battle against evildoers! Even more if those evildoers are smiliar to you but riding chromatic dragons, or airborne fiends from the lower planes!

Yes, I'm more a silver and bronze dragons fan than a gold or copper dragons fan.

Bronze dragons, if played by a worthy DM, tend to have a good head for riddles and a good sense of humor.

They're also surprisingly easy to kill.

As far as I know, they love to discuss strategy and tactics and have quite knowledge about those issues.

Given that fact, I don't think that a bronze dragon played by a worthy DM that portrays it as the military mastermind it should be, is easy to kill. After all, something that has been thinking about combat strategies for decades or centuries have a lot of tricks up its sleeve, and is always a step ahead of any attacker, or never fight if the conditions don't entirely favour the winged reptile.

When it's wings are frozen solid and you've got two rogues in the party, you'd be surprised.

I didn't say it didn't put a good fight, I just said it was easier to kill than its gold and silver counterparts.

While I generally prefer Lawful Evil foes (Devils > Demons), dragons are so powrful and solitary it doesn't matter.

Red, because a well run Red Dragon has charmed Fire Giants guarding the pass to its lair.
