Overextended!

Holy crap... I just realized that I have a lot of Firefox extensions. A lot. Like... 26. Ish. And I can't bear to part with any of them. :(

Lessee...

Adblock Plus - Awesome. I literally can't remember the last time I saw an ad -- pop-up, banner, or otherwise.
Autohide - Lets me customize what parts of the browser disappear in full screen mode.
ChatZilla - Actually, I don't really use this one. In fact, I'm not quite clear on what it does. Oh, well... better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, yes? ;)
Copy Link Name - Let's me copy the title of a link. Dur.
CustomizeGoogle - Goodbye, Google ads! Also has some useful tweaks and shortcuts.
ErrorZilla - Replaces the standard 404 page with one that has links to the Internet Archive, pinging, etc. Also has a big red dinosaur on it.
Forecastfox - places a little weather indicator in the status bar. I like.
FoxyTunes - Lets me control iTunes from the status bar, plus has links to all sorts of useful music search tools.
Gmail Checker - Puts a little Gmail inbox counter in the corner of the screen that alerts me to new mail.
Google Browser Sync - Syncs my bookmarks, cookies, and passwords across computers. Although I did screw up and corrupt the bookmarks I had the other day. >_<
Google Notebook - attaches a scratchpad to the status bar to hold notes and stuff.
Hyperwords - I only really use one of its features -- the built in translator. Right click crazy foreign lingo, select the languages, and the text is replaced on the page. Like, the page is literally rewritten. Very cool.
iReader - just got this one. Gives a pop-up summary of the pages when you hover over a link. Kinda crappy, really.
Menu Editor - Lets me customize how the context and toolbar menus are laid out. Goodbye, "File > Work Offline"!
Morning Coffee - one click opens up all my favorite pages on the day they're updated. NSG is set for every day, of course. :p
Mouse Gestures - God in extension form. Right-click, draw a letter "N", and bam! NSG. Makes me feel like Tom Cruise's character in Minority Report, minus the awesome holoscreen.
NewTabURL - opens Google in all new tabs. Kind of a "duh, why can't I do that in the first place" thing.
Optimoz Tweaks - Keeps my bookmarks sidebar hidden unless I mouse over to the left-hand side of the screen.
Print/Print Preview - Enhances the print button with extra options. Strange, since I hardly ever print anything...
ReminderFox - Like a virtual string tied around my finger. Now, if I could just remember to update it with new events on a regular basis...
Save As Image - saves the current tab as an image. Wait, doesn't Prnt Scrn do that?
SearchWith - Also awesome. Highlight text, right-click, and search with Google, Wiki, YouTube, dictionary, BitTorrent (), CNN, etc...
Splash - adds a cool splash screen on first loading Firefox. I even added my favorite song as the startup tune.
StumbleUpon - Every click on the "Stumble!" button sends me to a random webpage designed to fit my interests. Great for making new NSG threads. Or procrastinating. :p
Tab Mix Plus - Not sure why I got this, but I guess its cool.
Talkback - Ghosted. Useless.

Actually, looking back, there are quite a few I could get rid of. I smell a poll...

Anyway, what extensions do you have, if you use a browser that supports them? Got any faves? Need to do some spring cleaning? :p

StubleUpon, LeetKey, Tab Effect, User Agent Switcher, Image zoom.

That's all, and I added your Gmail checker and google ad remover thingies.

Personally, LeetKey is cool, Tab is stupid and it gets annoying, Image zoom is useless, StumbleUpon is God ;) , User Agent Switcher didnt help with what I thought it would.

I had Tab Effect installed once. For about five minutes. Then it got irritating 'cause it was so slow.

I also considered getting the Image Zoom one, but I have a mouse gesture that does the same thing much more easily (right-click, move down & right to zoom, up & left to shrink). As for User Agent Switcher... did you think it let you use different profiles on Firefox? If so, I'm pretty sure there's an extension that already does that.

Oh, and good to hear I made a convert. :p

Mein:

Useless: DOM inspector, getvideo, picture this, talkback, US english dictionary, unplug.

Meh: download statusbar, fasterfox, ietab, linkl alert, smiley xtra, tab mix plus.

Pretty useful: all-in-one sidebar, research word, spellbound II, yes popups.

T3h pwnz0rz: adblock, bugmenot, cooliris previews, stumbleupon. <-- If you don't have these, get them now.

I say kill stumbleUpon. I had that installed for a few days and then I realized that I wasn't doing anything but clicking the stupid button. It got the boot soon after. :D

Well... not really, I'm kind of a packrat. But I'll probably never use it. :p
