That's right, I turned my money in and in April, I'm comin' to Canada, eh! I'll be up near Toronto and Niagara Falls.... :)

Yep... my first time out of the USA since I was six... oh yeah... :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

So, O Canadians of NSG, anything I need to know?

I think the Canadians should be coming to us for advice (mine would be, "Do whatever she says").

Take a sweater, Pancake, I hear it can be a little chilly up there in the Spring.

Is this a family excursion?

Just remember that Canada is pronounced [Ka-nai-da], and that you should leave your guns in your car. Try not to piss off the mounties, though you don't have to worry because they never get their women, and keep in mind that Saskatoon is the life of the Canadian party. Apart from Quebeck that is, but they're half french (if not more!) so they don't really count. And if nothing else, you can always be a PIRATE! on the river Saskatchewan!

And it's a heave-ho! hi-ho!
Coming down the plains
Stealing wheat and barley and all the other grains
And it's a ho-hey! hi-hey!
Farmers bar your doors when you see the Jolly Roger on Regina's mighty shores.

i hear it's pronounced Terr-AH-no in the local dialect. better brush up on the old language skills, Pancake :p

Oh yeah and instead of "hey dude", or "whats up girl?", they like when you insult something they are wearing at first meeting to prove that you have a sense of humor.

Be sure to bring lots of ham steaks. They're the culinary opposite of pancakes (i think...)

No, no, no. Not ham. Ham steaks. Entirely different.

Have fun in Ontario! I'm not so sure you'll get to experience everything Canada has to offer whilst being part of a band trip, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway.

It'll probably be similar to the way I feel when I'm in the US; similar enough to home to feel like home, yet different enough to feel like a trip. You'll be in Niagara and Toronto specifically? Both are great cities.

Words of advice? Depending where you're coming from, it may seem a little cool. Should also be a little rainy. But other than that, get used to people driving like maniacs, and strange brown cups marked 'Tim Horton's' lieing strewn about everywhere you go.

Don't bring skis, the snow is gone April.

And, if you bump into a weird boy with spock hair who offers you a cookie, mace and run, it's probably me. :p

I'm going to BC in March, and right now I'm hoping the Canaaaaadian ecooonomy crashes so my trip will be dirt cheap.

Either way, I'm ready. I have my ushanka for the cold, my rifle for the mooses that might charge me, my mace for the hockey fans, and my USDs which are like Gods compared to the Canadian dollars.

Man, I really hope the fucking state department gets me my passport in time.

Nah, the BC economy isn't gonna be crashing any time soon. And USD aren't that great. Actually, in BC, we are moving towards a Rocky Mountain Oyster standard.

You probably meant you can't remember because it was long ago. I read this as, you can't remember Vancouver because you were high the whole time.
