Apparently Sharpton's ancestors belonged to Strom Thurmond's ancestors.
I suppose it's best for all that Thurmond passed away. One wonders if, in his old age, he would have been able to resist saying certain things.

That wasn't a mistake, just a reflection of how thoroughly Shaprton got owned: his name will take months to recover.
