I've been hearing a lot of people say how they hate the comedian and nothing he says is funny. It's as if everyone hates him now. Curious, am I the only one here at least that still likes the guy? Usually I don't give a shit about there personal lives, if they make me laugh their good.

He doesn't really have a message behind his comedy, it's just a never ending line of stereotypes.

Carlos Mencia is a boorish loudmouth who likes to think that he's controversial. I can't stand to watch his show more than five minutes. Besides, he steals jokes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsq1uTLBHBc).

Indeed...I forced myself to watch Mind of Mencia for 20 whole minutes once, and there was not ONE joke in all that time that wasn't based on a racial stereotype.

I agree with Rhaomi and Delator. He's obnoxious, and while mildly entertaining for a few minutes, has absolutely no lasting appeal, and falls short of being funny.

Carlos Mencia is a hack who steals his jokes. It's commonly known among comedians. No comedian really likes him.

Rogan can be funny as hell. I've heard him on Cringe Humor's internet radio site. He did a hilarious set. Plus he'll kick your ass if you don't say something nice about him.

He has messages. They're fairly good ones, as well. Equality, anti-PC, good will - stuff like that.

He's not that bad. There are definitely better, but he's not bad.

As for him stealng jokes, every man has a back, but not every man has a case.

I think what happens is that (the majority) of people on the anti-Mencia band-wagon are either too sensitive to racist jokes or hate him for stealing jokes and cuz everyone else hates him.

I admit sometimes he isn't all that funny but when he does the stuff about ethnic jokes, and his pro-america jokes I think he's funny as hell.

As for the stealing jokes issue I don't think that should be a reason to not listen to a comedian. If he makes you laugh he's doin his job. Ex: I saw that thing on youtube where Rogen exposed Mencia for stealing, there was one joke he took from that jewish guy, Ari something. To me Ari wasn't funny at all but Mencia at least didnt sound like Napolean Dynamite.

Btw does Mind of Mencia still air anymore?

1. Since when does a comedian need to have a "message"?

2. His message is mostly anti-PC. I would probably put him in the category of libetarian to tell you the truth.

I think Mencia and Comedy Network missed the point of humor about an ethnicity by a supposed member of that ethnicity.

Sure, it's funny when Chappelle jokes about blacks - but that's because he's actually funny and talented.

Mencia is just too lame to pull off any joke - even if it isn't about Hispanics.

I've tried watching his show and have been able to laugh at a couple of his jokes.

Though, like someone earlier said, stereotype jokes get really old, really fast.

Mostly though he is a boring unfunny loudmouth.


Lisa Lampanelli, the queen of mean, is a bit better. She puts herself down as much as she puts eveyrone else down and I think she's more shocking than he is. I cringe at more of her jokes but I enjoy that about them. She gets annoying too though.

When "Carlos" Mencia first aired his show, he was hilarious, and I didn't think TV could get any better. The Arab rapper? The office pimp? That stuff was great, but then...

He's refined the show so much that all it amounts to now is:

"Beaner! Hahahahahaha! Ready? Beaner! I said it again!! Hahahaha!"

He's not funny. All he does is go on about ethnic streotypes in a way that is just stupid.
