do you ever feel...
like paying rent is a waste of money becasue you sleep at your s/o's place most of the time?

Hahahahahahahaha...more like, "Do you ever feel that having sexual organs is a total waste because you don't have a s/o to sleep with?"
But I see where you're coming from. My German exchange student (she's 26, before you guys freak out) stays at her boyfriends house nearly all the time, and only comes once a month to do some laundry, but insists on paying full rent. She mostly just hates our house because I look myself in my room with really loud music whenever she's over (I don't like other people in my space!).

Other way around. Before we broke up, my girlfriend paid an awful lot for what basically amounted to extra closet space.

I'm willing to pay the price to have a space that's completely mine.

when i was in second and third year of university i lived in a flat with 4 girls and one of them almost never slept at ours. as far as the rest of us were concerned she barely even existed so it was pretty annoying when she was around and tried to make her presence felt. it was pretty pointless her existing at all actually.
yeh, i generally feel more like TC.

Sadly, yes... That thought occures to me, like, almost constantly!

And there could be one of the reasons why that is the case: They're not here!

I did. Then we moved in together. That was nearly 6 years ago and it's been great.
i work on a mine site and spen 10 days a month at home, so paying full rent seems like a bit pointless, but i do need somewhere to stor all my crap when i'm at home and it's not like i have much of a choice.

So, we all agree upon the TC sentiment?

But I suppose the breaking up part is where it comes in handy to have that extra closet space...
I dunno though in the past week I've slept at my house once and eaten here almost as little. I've basically been home to feed my fish and get more clothes.

"S/O"?
EDIT: I got it. :headbang:
dunno. if you sleep there that often, you should talk about rooming together.
I think that means you agree with TC by default. :p
:D
I guess I do...
