I believe you must have a population over a billion. I could be wrong about that, but I do know there's a certain time or population barrier that must be passed.

Seriously though, if you want a population over a billion, it's a good idea to teach your citizens Mandarin and giving them eye surgery. ;)

Issues don't do anything. They don't increase or decrease it. It automatically goes up regardless.
:confused: I think I was told otherwise, but I don't remember......you are probably right though.
populatin grows no matter what. and when it hits 500 million people you can changed the beginning part of your name.
It's still 500 million. Huzzah. Does this mean the US will break up when it reaches the 500 million mark?
