Stupid Internet Explorer question

I know this is something simple, but I'm drawing a blank. Just recently the toolbar on top of my Internet Explorer page disappeared. It returns when I move the mouse to the top of the page, but when I move the mouse down it disappears again. I probably clicked something while I was busy on the phone, but I don't know what. Anybody know what I did and how to undo it?
Start using Firefox.
Seconded. Mouse gestures, tabbed browsing, a zillion add-ons... FF is quite awesome.
I'm at a loss over how a master internetter such as DCD could still be using IE. :p

You probably went into fullscreen mode; try hitting your F11 key.

Thanks. Funny thing is I used to know that once and I forgot all about it. I guess alcohol does cause significant brain damage.

Whenever I type something in on the address bar stupid Firefox just hijacks it.
IE forever!

Will everyone please stop telling me to use firefox. IE is a perfectly good browser. Plus it's from Microsoft, a name I trust. Without our support Bill Gates can't continue his charity work either.

You could get Firefox and then install one of the (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3984/previews/) IE themes (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/4327/). Looks identical, at first glance.

What's he got against Firefox, anyway? It's free, and much more efficient for work, what with all the tabs and such.
