What's an appreciation threat? I like Rob Zombie so much I'm going to kidnap him and cut off his limbs. Does that work?

Well, it's a good song (love the intro), but I'm not sure what you mean by "mind fuck". It's not particularly extreme, if that's what you're saying.

If it's mindfuck music you're looking for, then Tool >*. Find yourself the songs Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman) and Rosetta Stoned off of the 10,000 Days album, sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Rob Zombie isn't bad, but Ministry is better.

I thought the video with the stylistic allusions to the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari was interesting.

What is mindfuck in the context of an effect that music could produce?

Music so loud that it causes your brain to simply freeze up. Sounds like a mind-fuck to me. :)

Or causes brain damage.

How loud your music is depends on the volume setting of your speakers/headphones. I suppose you mean "harsh" or "heavy" or "fast"?

Quite possibly. :)

Yes, that is what I was getting at, though I think any "harsh" music would also be played loud.

Well, the music seemed unremarkable. The video was weird, but ultimately boring (no offense to fans, just giving my opinion).

Yes, that is what I was getting at, though I think any "harsh" music would also be played loud.

Yeah, in most cases, probably. I don't think I really vary the volume of my music based on the style, but I think my interpretation of the phrase "loud music" is probably correction.
