Im taking gr 12 university-level economics course and already we are working on our huge year-end project... However Im having the problem of picking a topic... Any help is greatly appreciated.

I must choose an economic issue, discuss it and argue my position on the argument. So, the help that I need is choosing an interesting topic that has a lot of information to work with.... ANy ideas?

Sidenote: My friend took the course last year and he said he did his on insurance rate policies... and that it was hard as h3ll for him to research and present because there was nothing for him to research.. So a topic that is easily researchable would be greatly appreciated too..

Thanks in advanced!! =D

i did a study on the relative economic welfare of Russia and Poland, two formerly 'communist' economies, post break up of the USSR for my A-level coursework.

research was hard (especially for Russia as often records had been "lost" heh), and intertemporal- combined with international comparisons always complicate things, but it was worth it: hard subject-matter = really good grade :) don't write off doing something that's hard to research cos that'll be reflected in your grade (i assume)
