Election, 2008: Why Not Zod?

While stumbling about the internet on another pointless search, I discovered a website that posed the greatest question that I could ever possibly face: Would you elect General Zod as President of the United States in the year 2008?

Now, it can be generally agreed that what we Americans need most is a leader that intends to actually tell the public what he or she will be doing. As such, the campaign site actually makes it clear that Zod will tell us exactly what he will be doing as he takes everything we own while we're kneeling before him.

Thoughts? Concerns? Hope that Superman might show up and put a stop to this? Wish that Obama is actually Superman and will be the one to stop Zod? Belief that McCain is Zod? Post here. After all, maybe a Kryptonian candidate might actually bring the necessary reform that America needs.

I, for one, would welcome our new Kryptonian overlord.

For an alien overlord with his sights set on military conquest, the guy is an incredibly sanctimonious populist.

Oh, great. O.K, one rule regarding this thread. Absolutely no mention will be made of Kal-El Coppola Cage, or his family. The kid's got a Ghost Rider father to deal with, so we don't consider the Cages as we argue about the pros and cons of Zod's agenda.

Well of course, he's a baby and thus is already kneeling, well crawling, before Zod.

I have no friends, only enemies, archfoes and victims!
Also, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Considering that the proper Zod is Russian (the books are always better than the movies kids;) ) and that I'm not American, then no.

...the space I mentioned was stretched out when I last looked here. Why must the forums not support my words?!
