Starts with:
"The CIA has been hiding and interrogating some of its most important al Qaeda captives at a Soviet-era compound in Eastern Europe, according to U.S. and foreign officials familiar with the arrangement.

The secret facility is part of a covert prison system set up by the CIA nearly four years ago that at various times has included sites in eight countries, including Thailand, Afghanistan and several democracies in Eastern Europe, as well as a small center at the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, according to current and former intelligence officials and diplomats from three continents."

The secret prison system was set up it seems prior to some of these wars, and so it is questioned if this secret prison system still exists is right? Is it wrong? What do you think?

I feel that this is wrong on the issue of democratic transparency, as an American I would like to see more transparency in my government. These "secret prisons" do not allow us to hold our own government accountable for what they are doing.

Uh... did you miss the part where the story was dated "November 2, 2005"? As atrocious as they are, the secret prisons are very, very old news. Hell, I was still 16 years old back then (as opposed to 18 now).

Thank you, I could never have worked that one out

Well... I could have been older now, depending on where my birthday is. Just saving the hassle for whatever Internet stalkers I may have. (You know who you are ;))

I know this is weird to say, but the title bothers me greatly. Stupid grammar instinct.
