So my boyfriend and I were having another earnest discussion last night...mainly, which Easter treat is tastier, Cadbury Eggs or Marshmallow Peeps. He loves Peeps, and I'm all about the creamy filled sugary pseudo-yolk.

Which do you like?

I cant eat cadbury cream eggs with out getting my chops covered in suspicious looking white gunk... and I hate marshmellows..

I think that my 5 year old has mentioned that the pink bunnies are sacrilegious (although not in a serious sense unless her religion is based on candy.....which it might be) because true candy bunnies must be made of chocolate.

Cream Eggs or Mini Eggs?

I voted "Cadbury Eggs" on the assumption that they were the mini variety. I'm not such a fan of the cream ones.

they are both awful. peeps have too much sugar on them so they are rough on your mouth. cadbury eggs are ....*shudder* well their downside has already been mentioned.

the whole thread brings back easter confection horrors of the past. decorated candy eggs the size of coke cans. filled with ....ohgod the horror! ive suppressed the memory....

the only good easter candy is chocolate bunnies preferably made of good chocolate and not hollow.

Creme eggs, definitely. Although I'm not a fan of Cadbury's chocolate in general (too bitty, sweet and milky for my liking), I will always buy the creme eggs. And then dip random foodstuffs into them.

Especially since I personally know chocolate macaroons squarely kick both their candy asses. (That, and I spent a week in the Cadbury factory and saw just how unsanitary everything was.)

I've never eaten peeps, but the descriptions of them sound horrid. I vote for Cadbury creme eggs, but I can't eat more than one because they're pretty sickly sweet.
