All of them.

In that case, I always like the grenaders from the original Red Alert. I could march through most bases with them, no problem.

From Red Alert 2 it would have to be the chrono legioniars just the one of them used correctly could bring down your enemy.

But seeing as you forgot the 'other' option then I would have to go with the Kirov airship. As hard as nails.

Where are the prism tanks? I mean, honestly, driving a whole group of elite prism tanks was sweet. See, basically, you would click on one enemy target with your 40 highest ranked prism tank and the thing would blow up, along with almost everything else on the screen. Then you would lag so long that you could just see every little screen of the building and its surroundings blow up. Nice.

Also to be tried: Grouping hundreds of Ivans in the center of a map and hitting the cluster with a nuke. Fun as hell.

Kirov easily. I can't count the number of times I built a massive fleet of them to get past enemy AA and take out their construction yard. Makes victory so much easier when the enemy can't rebuild :D

All of them.I reject that assertation. There is only one unit from the original C&C and one unit from Tiberian Sun, and you have lumped them together in the same option. Even then the Mammoth tank is not unique to the original C&C, yet you have 3 distinct options for RA2. Suckage.

I think my favourites would be to the subterranean APC and the flamethrower tank in TS. Nothing like luring an oppenent out of his base, just to pop up a couple of APCs full of engineers, cyborgs and rocket launchers, and a few supplementary flame tanks.

Though I guess going the same with GDI was cool as well. I do love the ORCA carryall. Use it to drop off some disrupters, Mammoth mark II, and a couple of APCS with engineers, Ghoststalker, some medics and some disc throwers.

The Mammoth MkII all the way :D

Whilst your building up your flood of them they make fantastic ground and air defense for your base and then you just roll up to the enemy and flatten them

My vote is for the Commando from Command and Conquer: Tiberium Dawn. Why? Because it's always nice to get back to basics. That little guy saved my butt so many times back in the day. Also... *cough* If anyone remembers the first expansion ever for CnC. The secret operations one... Yeah Giant Ants were pretty sweet.

The ants were Red Alert, actually (accompanied with morse-code backstory in the manual). It was dinosaurs in C&C. Accompanied with new music... Did that bit have the tune that sounded like Leonard Nimoy saying "reaching out to do other worlds", or did you have to pull that from the game yourself? Can't remember.

Anyway, the Commando was cool ("That was left-handed!"), but the best, best unit was the original Flame Tank. It was brilliant, especially when torching civilians. The screams! Ahahahaha! The best firey deaths this side of Syndicate!
